It's Been TOO LONG!

Hello Everyone! 

I need to set an alarm to make sure I post my updates as much as possible! I've been with La Bella since March now and I really do care about my business! It pushes me to break out of my shell to a certain degree! 

I'd love to see comments from others! I love the support! 

I'm going to update with daily posts more often because I want to make sure everyone knows the good, bad, and great about trying to expand your work from home business!

Successful Sunday!

Hey Everyone,

It has been a good week with La Bella! I'm continuing to reach out to all avenues!

So here's some updates:
1. Got 5 leads for consultants between Friday and Saturday.
      - emailed all five, talked on the phone to 2, and corresponded via email with all of them!

2. Got contacted to make a donation for a non for profit company out of Chicago for a group that grants dresses, make up etc. for young ladies that can't afford to pay for prom. I've offered the founder the opportunity to pick out 3 different baskets and I will purchase one as a donation.  All I asked in return is if I could add her to my email list and I will make sure to send promotional items for her and the young ladies they're sponsoring!

3. My sister is enjoying her La Bella experience. No sales yet but she told me a was a great leader. That means so lot to me from my sister.  We're twins and we've been through a lot together and while it's my job to manage people Monday thru Friday and I can't say enough how much fun I've had managing my sister! GO RIAH!

4. Passed out goodie bags to the hostess at Chili's today. It made her smile and she said she would check out my website.  I enjoy passing out goodie bags to servers/hostesses and I plan on passing out at least 5 a day.  I need to invest in more candy now before it's off sale before Easter. Besides, I can claim my expenses on my taxes next year!

I'm just trying to keep making the connections and the income is going to build! In order to be a Sr. Gift Director I have to make $500 in sales by April 14th. That's close but anything is possible!

I can't say enough how awesome it has been to continue to work a business and know that I can take care of things on my terms.  I will always have to report to my current job Mon-Fri and I know not too many people can say they love their job but I love my FT job. I love my supervisors and the students.  But I'm enjoying being my own boss with La Bella!

And It's Been Awhile

I tell myself I'm going to update a blog every week and look what happened! I'm already slacking!

I have a couple updates:
1. Enrolled my twin sister as a consultant! YAY!
2. Had my first real conversation with a potential team member.
    * Follow up phone call is due on Monday or Tuesday
3. Looking for the next sale.

I've taken some advice from the money makers of La Bella to see who and how to target my main audience and it got me thinking... who is my main audience? I know consultants have been making money from realtors, friends, family, businesses, etc. I don't know who my main audience is yet I guess.

I've reached out to the following:
Marketing directors for Senior Living Communities I've worked in
Generic Searches online for realtors
General Public
Churches
Friends and Family

Few sales from these avenues but the only way to go is up right?  It's been a rough week for me personally. I've had a lot of trial and tribulations and it's actually going to get a little worse in the next couple of weeks.  I just keep smiling to survive but it's hard.

I do smile when I'm working on La Bella! This is my opportunity to control my own business and that makes me proud of what I'm doing. 

Now that my sister is a consultant, I look forward to us working together even though we are 236 miles away from each other. We're going to be successful together.  La Bella Consultants just support us through our journey as well as the Lord himself and we're going to be great!

My First Entry

Good Evening!

Time is 11:04 pm.  Children have been in bed since 8 pm. Mommy has been working on her new business venture and it is taking away sleep.  But I have a goal... to be successful! And with success comes lots of lost sleep and the end results are marvelous!

If you are reading this blog, it is because I have probably posted this somewhere on Facebook and as a friend, family member, or colleague, you have chosen to read this.  So, I must say thank you first and foremost! YOU ARE AWESOME!

So this is my GRAND OPENING ANNOUCEMENT VIA BLOG!

I'M OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Next question, what the heck do you do?!

Well, I took the leap of faith and chose to create my own destiny and work from home! I work for La Bella Baskets and Gifts! WOOO!

Now I could take this opportunity to copy and paste everything that I found online about La Bella but let me give you the short version:

"The company is wonderful! You have a support system at your finger tips and your success depends on how hard you want to work. You are given a website, training materials, and again consistent support, and an opportunity to assist anyone and everyone with their gift giving needs."

I thought to myself... could I do this? Because I've been down this road before and saw minimal success. But the first thing La Bella asks you to commit to is one year.  One year to prove to yourself that you can be successful and others will follow you leadership and be successful as well! I needed to read that and I needed to make that commitment. 

I am a gift consultant but I have chosen to market myself as the Gift Guru! I want to help you with all your gift giving needs. You tell me you want to purchase for Mom who hates candy but appreciates wine and cheese and I will find you several options on my website.  I know how much the shipping may cost.  I upsell and make contact with you via email and phone! I promote with business cards, Facebook, conversation with anyone, and a smile on my face! I'm awesome people and I feed off of other's happiness! I think that's why my full time job is in food service! I am so excited about this opportunity that I can shout it from the roof tops!

So my last comment is going to be why am I wanting to venture out and work from home and have my own business.  Well to be honest, I need more money.  My goal is to create the cushion of savings everyone should have. But I do not.  I have a work ethic that has followed me since I was 16.  I never give up and I strive for success! But then I think about my boys. I want to give them the world and Mommy's not making six figures yet and what I get paid now pays all are bills... AMEN! But I want my cushion and I like what I do.  I go to work happy and leave work happy but I was telling myself that I have weekends free now so I should get a job and punch in everyday Saturday and Sunday??

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! I will not spend two more days away from my babies! I need to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings and make breakfast. I want to go to parks and go to the grocery store and buy fruit snacks for the heck of it. So I found La Bella and I am a happy camper. 

So I make this pledge that every night unless I am not physically able to do so, I will work on my business. I will learn, grow, and prosper.  I will support others that support me.  I will be a leader within this company so my end result is my cushion that my boys and I deserve. You've seen it here first!
